The one area of the home that wastes the most water is the bathroom. We use water in the sink when we brush our teeth, flush the toilet, and take showers or baths. Aside from installing Dual Flush Toilets in your bathroom, one easy method to conserve and save water at the sink is to turn it off. Many people let the water run when they brush their teeth. Get your toothbrush wet and turn it off, do not let it run the entire time that you are brushing. The same goes with washing your hands. You can turn off the water while you lather your hands with soap and can turn it back on to rinse it off.
In the shower, water can be saved by turning it off too. After getting yourself wet, turn off the shower, soap up, shampoo your hair, and then turn the water back on to rinse off.
